It seems spots aren’t just reserved for us normal lot, A-listers are also plagued by a blemish or two every now and then – a fact Kylie Jenner is sharing with her Instagram fans. The makeup mogul took to her Kylie Skin page to share a video of her pre-shoot beauty prep, which involved reducing the size of a blemish before she had to be on camera.
“Shoot day skin prep using our clarifying patches, eye cream and watermelon lip oil,” she captioned the video.
“Get ready with me to head to a shoot. OK, so first I have this little pimple here so I'm going to use one of my pimple patches before I go. The patch goes on then it kind of blends in with my skin. If you want to get rid of a pimple fast, it’s the patches for me,” she continued, showing herself sticking one of her Kylie Skin Clarifying Patches,£16 here, over the pimple on her cheek.
If you haven’t used a spot patch before, these clever little stickers stop you from picking at the blemish while the hydrocolloid make-up of the patch absorbs fluid and helps to reduce inflammation within hours of sticking it on. Some feature microdart technology, which puncture the blemish to more efficiently reach its centre, while others, like Kylie’s, are soaked in spot-fighting ingredients like salicylic acid and niacinamide.
