Lottie Tomlinson is the latest celeb to have her filler dissolved for a more natural look

There’s been a huge push towards more natural beauty looks this year. Celebs who have previously been fans of lip and facial filler have been having the liquid removed in a bid to get back a more “natural” look.

Now, it’s the turn of Lottie Tomlinson. Lottie, who is the younger sister of One Direction star Louis Tomlinson, just took to Instagram to give fans an update on her appearance. The new mum explains on her Instagram stories that she’s choosing to have her facial and lip filler dissolved in a bid to look “more natural”, also sharing a look at the dissolving process.

"It's happening, I'm at the amazing @Harley_Street_Injectables today to dissolve my fillers. I’m nervous but excited to be more natural,” she captions the video.

If you’re wondering what Lottie has on her mouth in the clip, it’s numbing cream. Having filler dissolved is a relatively simple process whereby a professional injects an enzyme called hyaluronidase. This substance then breaks down the filler over the course of several hours.

Because it’s injected into the lips, or the areas of the face with filler, the area gets numbed with cream so that the patient doesn’t experience any discomfort. If you’re interested in the full filler removal process,we have a detailed step-by-step of what you can expect from it here.

Lottie hasn’t officially posted a before-and-after snap yet for us to compare her look, but she has since returned to her Instagram stories with a noticeably smaller pout – and she looks amazing. It’s clear she has a naturally defined lip shape and was just using filler to add volume to the centre of her lips.

Like we say, the 24 year old isn’t the first celeb to opt for a natural transformation this year. The trend seems to have been kicked off by Molly-Mae Hague, who has been on a two-year long mission to remove her facial fillers and cosmetic dentistry work.

Next, it was the turn of Love Island star Faye Winter, who got candid with her lip filler removal process on Instagram earlier this year. This month, it was also reported that Love Island 2022 winner Ekin-Su plans to dissolve lip fillers as she “didn’t like the fake look” on the show.

It’s a revolution!
