‘Grateful’ Madonna speaks out for the first time since hospitalization, ICU stay

Madonna is getting ready to “Vogue.”

The Queen of Pop gave fans an update on her ongoing recovery since being hospitalized for a bacterial infection, showing fans in an Instagram video Thursday that she’s slowly dancing again.

“To be able to move my body and dance just a little bit makes me feel like the Luckiest Star in the world!” Madonna, 64, captioned the video, which showed her grooving to her 1984 hit track “Lucky Star.”

“Thank you to all of my fans and friends!
You must be my lucky stars too!” she added.

She concluded her update by wishing her debut album, “Madonna,” a happy 40th birthday and added four star emojis.

Fellow celebrities and fans alike quickly flooded her comments to laud her and her recovery.

“There she is!!!!! 🔥🔥🔥❤️❤️,” wrote Andy Cohen.

“you dropped this 👑,” added The Weeknd.

“still my favorite album ever,” commented Diplo.

Page Six exclusively reported in June that Madge, 64, was rushed to a New York City hospital after being found unresponsive at her home. She was initially intubated while being treated in the intensive care unit before being transferred to regular care.

Her longtime manager, Guy Oseary, later explained that Madonna “developed a serious bacterial infection which led to a several day stay in the ICU.”

Sources also told Page Six that she was expected to make a full recovery.

After returning home a few days later, the “Material Girl” singer’s family was seen coming in and out of her Upper East Side manse.

In the days leading up to Madonna’s health crisis, insiders told Page Six that she had been “strenuously rehearsing” at Nassau Coliseum for her now-postponed world tour.

“She had been putting in 12-hour days,” the insider shared.

The “Frozen” songstress broke her silence on July 12, telling fans that she was “on the road to recovery.”

“My first thought when I woke up in the hospital was my children,” she wrote on Instagram along with a selfie.

“My second thought was that I did not want to disappoint anyone who bought tickets to my tour. … My focus now is my health and getting stronger and I assure you, I’ll be back with you as soon as I can!”
