A NEWBUILD home which looks like it has been crammed into a back garden has been compared to a bunker – and it costs more than half a million pounds.
The bizarre property in London’s Canning Town is described as a “unique opportunity” but it will set its purchaser back a sizeable £530,000 for just 646sq ft of space.
Others joked it looked like a “repurposed brutalist Yugoslavian war memorial” but agents Highcastle Estates clearly don’t see it that way.

House hunters were horrified by it saying it looked like a “bunker”.
Others assumed its ground level had once been a garage that had been built upwards.
'BUNKER'
“Since when is a one bedroom bunker an ideal family home?” one said.
“And is the ‘spacious garden’ that bit under the overhang with the privacy screen around it? I doubt it even gets enough natural light to be able to read a book by,” another lamented.
Another said: “Is… is this basically two garages stuck on top of another garage and converted into a three storey one bedroom house?”
Another joked: “Waiting to the end to reveal that this is a repurposed brutalist Yugoslavian war memorial was quite something.”
And another chipped in, saying: “Ever since I failed the entrance exam to become a fireman I've dreamed of living in one of the towers they use for training.”
“This got a genuine snort out of me. Good find!” another said on the Reddit thread.
“Hey don't knock it…. It's in London and it has a garden……” another said, looking on the positive side.
And one added: “I’m always suspicious of Rightmove listings that don’t use the outside as the first photo. This is why!”
Another said: “Classic – when I saw the stairs photo I assumed that the building was three shipping containers stacked on top of each other. Glad I wasn't too far off the mark.”
