A woman has revealed how she keeps her arms toned with her ‘lazy girl workout’ that doesn’t require any equipment. 

Lauren Jack, 28, has nearly 200,000 followers on TikTok, where she shares videos about her life in Texas, including her fitness routine.  

The content creator, who uses the handle @queenlaurenjack, went viral after giving a comical, yet educational, demonstration of the arm exercises she does at home.

After swinging her arms around for a quick warm-up, she raised and extended them at her sides. She made little forward circles for 15 seconds and then did the opposite direction 

Lauren had previously shared a workout tutorial that required a bed frame, but numerous commenters noted that they didn’t have one. 

The ‘Lazy Girl’ Workout

Lauren Jack’s at-home workout consists of arm circles and pulses – no equipment required.

She does each move for 15 seconds in the following order:

  • Forward arm circles 
  • Backward arm circles
  • Pulse palms forward
  • Pulse palms upward
  • Pulse palms backward
  • Pulse palms downward
  • Pulsing high ‘V’
  • Pulsing low ‘V’ 
  • Goal post into a ‘T’ 

‘This is for the girls who don’t have a bed frame. A lot of you guys mentioned that in the last video,’ she explained. ‘So this is an arm workout that you can do just with yourself.’

Lauren’s first instruction was to ‘scream at the top of your lungs,’ although she admitted it wasn’t necessary. 

‘There is no reason for this other than I promise it will make you feel better,’ she said.

‘When doing these exercises, it’s very important that you try your best to relax your shoulders, and even though you would think relaxing would come easy to [gals] like us, it gets difficult.’

‘You’re going to go forward in little circles for 15 seconds. You will then go the opposite direction and reverse the pain,’ she explained. 

‘You will then pulse your palms in every direction, so forwards for 15 seconds, up for 15 seconds, behind you for 15 seconds, and to the floor for 15 seconds.

‘I usually do these while I’m walking around to distract myself from the idea of doing, well, anything.’

Lauren’s next set of arm exercises — which she dubbed ‘shutters’ — consisted of raising her arms in a high ‘V’ and pulsing for 15 seconds. She then did the same move in a low ‘V’ for another 15 seconds.

Lauren’s next set of arm exercises – which she dubbed ‘shutters’ – consisted of raising her arms in a high ‘V’ and pulsing before doing the same thin in a low ‘V’



Finally, she held her arms up into goal position and then turned her hands down to the floor before extending them into a ‘T’ in one swift motion

The video has been viewed more than 478,000 times and has received hundreds of comments.

Many people were a fan of simple routine, which they thought was both effective and sustainable.

‘OK I need your energy! It’s cool how I literally cannot commit to anything but I liked this routine SO much,’ another added.
