NEWCASTLE return to Champions League action for the first time in two decades – and serial winners AC Milan will be hoping to spoil the party.

The Magpies punched above their weight last season which has earned them a dining spot at Europe's top table.

But Eddie Howe's men have been thrown into a baptism of fire as they will have to battle through Group F which includes AC Milan, PSG and Borussia Dortmund.

However, this opening encounter has come at the right time as Newcastle recently ended their three-game losing run to Brentford.

Furthermore, seven-time Champions League winners Milan will feel deflated having just suffered a 5-1 drubbing from bitter rivals Inter at the weekend.
