Arsenal, Chelsea and Man Utd blow as Serge Gnabry closes in on new Bayern Munich contract | The Sun

SERGE GNABRY is reportedly set to extend his stay at Bayern Munich and deal Premier League suitors a huge blow.

The 27-year-old has just one year left on his deal at the Allianz Arena leading to speculation he could be departing the Bundesliga champions this summer.

Bayern's sporting director Hasan Salihamidzic revealed last month how the club will have to cash in on the winger if he fails to pen a new contract.

And Bayern president Herbert Hainer stated in June how they were struggling to find an agreement with the Germany international.

Former employers Arsenal have been heavily linked with a move for their ex-academy graduate with Mikel Arteta keen to still bolster his attack.

Meanwhile Chelsea have identified the player as an alternative to Raphinha after Barcelona pipped them to the signing of the Leeds ace.

But the Premier League sides look to come up short in their pursuit of the forward as he closes in on a new deal in Bavaria.

According to Kicker, Gnabry is ready to commit his long-term future to Bayern having been left satisfied by their latest contract offer.

They state that both Gnabry and the club are optimistic his future will be sorted out shortly.
