FORMER Chelsea star William Gallas admitted he was "surprised" to be excluded from a Premier League social media post celebrating his old team.
The French defender was left out of an Instagram post that showed Chelsea's title-winning line-up from the 2005/06 season.

The team included club legends such as Petr Cech, Paulo Ferreira, John Terry, Ricardo Carvalho, Claude Makelele, Frank Lampard, Mikel Essien, Joe Cole, Didier Drogba and Arjen Robben.
However at left-back Asier del Horno was picked in the line-up ahead of Gallas.
The decision left the 45-year-old puzzled as he played 34 times in the Premier League that season, starting 33 of them.
Gallas also scored five goals and his performances earned him a spot in the Premier League team of the season that year.

He commented on the post: "Surprising to note that the Premier League has excluded me from Chelsea's 2005/06 typical team.
"With 33 appearances as start XI and 5 goals in the Premier League. Being voted as a left back in the Premier League team of the season 2005/2006.
"I say to myself that something has gone seriously wrong somewhere!!"
Del Horno on the other hand only made 25 appearances in the Premier League that season.

He was undoubtedly one of the club's key players during their run to the title that season.
