Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce is on the move and it’s all down to his blossoming relationship with Taylor Swift.
The tight end, 34, closed in on a deal Tuesday night to purchase a $6million mansion in Kansas City in search of more privacy amid his high-profile romance with the pop superstar, 33, according to a report from TMZ.
However, it doesn’t seem like too much of a price to pay for love as the NFL icon will also enjoy the luxury of a waterfall, swimming pool and mini golf course at his new pad.
Kelce felt his former humble abode wasn’t befitting of someone dating a 12-time Grammy Award winner and decided to step it up to ease feeling ‘self-conscious’, the New York Post added.
And his new mansion certainly lives up to expectations in both grandeur and seclusion.

Kelce reportedly felt his former humble abode wasn’t befitting of dating the superstar
His new abode, reportedly located in the Leawood suburb of Kansas City, was previously owned by a prominent Kansas City-area medical malpractice lawyer and listed in September 2022 for $6.9 million, according to Kansas City Business Journal.
The property, built in 1998, boasts six bedrooms, six baths, and sprawls across 17,000 sq ft.
The home isn’t short of decadence as it features many luxurious amenities, including a lit tennis and pickleball court and even its own miniature golf course.
The property’s stunning garden will provide Swift with the type of A-List glamor she has earned for herself and become accustomed to with the property’s three acres of land also featuring a ‘Beverly Hills-style’ pool area.
Sport and leisure converge across the three acres of land with the property’s outdoors providing the perfect environment for alfresco entertainment.
The expansive grounds are complete with bridges, winding paths, a gazebo, patio and seating areas for lounging around the pool.
Kelce will even be able to store his – and Swift’s – getaway cars in the adjacent heated six-car garage.
The opulence of the exterior is matched by the mansion’s beautiful interior, including majestic marble archways, rare African Mahogany hardwood floors and chandeliers adorning the ceilings.

The fledgling couple could then retreat for some cozy, quality time together in the living room or the home’s own library, featuring a wall of bookcases, a fireplace, an aquarium and, conveniently, a bar.
The football star will also be able to treat his new flame to her favorite glass of Chardonnay from his own wine cellar when she visits him in his new home.
The extravagance of the gorgeous property doesn’t end there, with Kelce likely to entertain from the two-level movie theater with Dolby Audio surround sound.
It also caters to his athletic needs with a gym and club room, and he can unwind following an arduous day of training in the full bath with steam shower and sauna.
Kelce is able to splash out on his new multi-million home after his Chiefs’ salary jumped from $2.9million in 2022 to $11.2million this year, alongside the money he pockets from endorsement deals with companies, such as Pfizer, Nike, Bud Light and State Farm.
Kelce is said to have closed in on the deal earlier this week after his new flame spent a couple of nights at his former abode.
The Anti-Hero hitmaker lovingly supported her NFL beau alongside his mom, Donna and dad, Ed, at Arrowhead last Thursday as the Chiefs took down the Denver Broncos 19-8, and is believed to have stayed at the football star’s former Kansas City mansion as photos exclusive to DailyMail.com showed her security team parked outside.
The new couple then jetted into New York City, holing up at Swift’s Tribeca apartment, before hitting the town in a loved-up display.
They were the talk of the Big Apple as they dined out at A-list hotspot, Nobu, before making surprise cameos on Saturday Night Live with Kelce even featuring in a skit that poked fun at the NFL mania surrounding their relationship.
They later partied into the early hours of the morning of October 15 at the SNL season premiere afterparty at Catch NYC – a glamorous steakhouse frequented by celebrities like David Beckham and the Jenners.

The NFL star was seen leaving Swift’s Tribeca apartment Monday afternoon before reuniting with his brother, Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce, at the Philadelphia Phillies MLB playoff game against the Arizona Diamondbacks.
Two-time Super Bowl winner Kelce and the Chiefs play the Los Angeles Chargers in the NFL on Sunday afternoon, at Kansas City’s Arrowhead Stadium. It is not yet known if Swift will be there to cheer him on, but given her Eras tour resumes in Argentina on November 9, she doesn’t have too many opportunities to see him play in the near future.
After this weekend, the Chiefs are in Denver for a return game with the Broncos and the following weekend head to Germany to play Miami Dolphins – five days before Swift’s first show in Buenos Aires.
