AYR is host to the show-stopping Scottish Grand National on Saturday.
The 23-runner race will be off at 3.35 – and looks set to be a typically tricky puzzle for punters to solve.

SOLID Steel. Game Kelso win and stays well. Can make errors but has place claims.
ELVIS MAIL 4
MAIL delivers. Career-best at Kelso and trip ideal. Yard in form, ground OK. High on shortlist.
KITTY’S LIGHT 4
BRIGHT Light. Been backed and won marathon Eider well. Up 8lb but should go close again.
MALINA GIRL 3
GIRL crazy. Good win in mud in Ireland and stays all day. Up 9lb but more rain would really help.
UNDERSUPERVISION 3
UNDER thumb. Won testing Grimthorpe and good run in it last time. Yard likes this race.
RUTHLESS ARTICLE 1
NO Less. Only 3lb higher than last win and stays. Well beaten at Ascot last time.
LORD ACCORD 1
LORD help him. Poor at Festival and can make errors. Still 4lb above last win. Needs more.
FLASH COLLONGES 2
FLASH in pan. Front-runner who won well at Newbury but may struggle with his stamina.
COOPER’S CROSS 2
CROSS words. Going well when falling late in the Topham at Aintree but longer trip a worry.
CAP DU NORD 2
CAP don’t fit. Solid form around 3m but was poor last time and this is too far for him.
FLASH DE TOUZAINE 1
TOU much. Mudlark who has largely struggled this season. Stays but needs lot of rain.
MANOTHEPEOPLE 4
TOP Man. Consistent and looks like a real stayer. Yard in form. Each-way player.
FAMOUS BRIDGE 3
BRIDGE gap. Improving stayer who has won last two well. Trip will suit. More to come.

FAIRY Story. Loves a slog and good second at Haydock latest. More to offer. Chance.
WAITNSEE 1
DON’T Wait. Has been struggling for a while and this looks another big ask.
MAGNA SAM 4
MAG has wheels. Stayed well to win Edinburgh Naitonal. This is tougher but he can hit the frame.
MIGHTY THUNDER 3
THUNDER cloud. 2021 winner and fair run at Kelso. Getting on but rain would give him hope.
FLOWER OF SCOTLAND 3
FLOWER blooms. Won Borders National and good hurdles run latest. Won’t lack for stamina.
HALF SHOT 1
HALF cut. Didn’t seem to stay 3m2f last time so tacking this longer trip is a major worry.
SMALL PRESENT 3
SMALL hope. Has been out of sorts for a while and poor again at Haydock last time.
