Why Jack Grealish WON'T be John McGinn's best man – as Ally McCoist fears wedding invite could be 'riddled with danger' | The Sun

THERE'S one big McGinn family get together at Easter Road this evening as Hibs play host to Aston Villa.

And another one is on the cards soon enough with John announcing back in December that he was to marry his long-term girlfriend Sara Stokes.

The loved-up couple shared pictures as they went on safari and took in a trip to the awe-inspiring Victoria Falls in Africa this summer.

And the former St Mirren and Hibs star's brother Paul gave a light-hearted sneak peak into the forthcoming proceedings as he appeared as a special guest on TalkSPORT this morning.

The McGinn family are very close – with former Hibee Paul confirming that he and the rest of the family will be supporting Aston Villa as "family cuts across".

So too are McGinn and his former Villa pal Jack Grealish, but Paul had a light-hearted retort to Alan Brazil's jokey claim that he had been passed over for the best man duties to the England star.

John and Paul both served as big brother Stephen's best men at his wedding back in 2019.

And Paul said: "There's no way anyone is picking Jack Grealish as their best man."

McCoist replied: "That would be riddled with danger, that, wouldn't it?

"Let's be honest with you – just INVITING him to the wedding would be a risk!"

Brazil then asked: "What about the stag do, will that be a Las Vegas stag, or maybe Troon or somewhere?"

McGinn replied: "I don't know. We'd be too recognisable, it will have to be South America or somewhere, with the glasses on!"
