LEG 1: Lethal Levi, Raatea
LETHAL LEVI got no luck when beaten a fair six lengths in the Wokingham at Ascot after a narrow Ayr second. He’ll be hard to beat if he handles the surface on his all-weather debut.
RAATEA won this 12 months ago and arrives on the back of a battling win at Haydock. He’s 5lb higher this year but has every chance.
LEG 2: Spycatcher
SPYCATCHER has been better than ever this season with a Thirsk win followed by a good fourth in a big Ascot handicap. He has run well over trip and track before so can go close again.
LEG 3: Blow Your Horn, Citizen General
BLOW YOUR HORN has been in brilliant form and made it four wins in a row at Pontefract on Sunday. He has won after a short break before, likes it here and is a strong stayer.
CITIZEN GENERAL General is consistent and was second here before two good Lingfield runs. He shapes like a stayer and the first-time cheekpieces could help him get home.
LEG 4: Vino Victrix, Adjuvant
VINO VICTRIX will be fitter for his two runs this season on soft ground that doesn’t suit. He was an excellent second in the Cesarewitch last season so loves this trip and is on a fair weight. He can go close at a big price.
ADJUVANT had a bit up his sleeve when scoring at Newmarket and can make the frame.
LEG 5: The Gatekeeper, Safe Voyage
THE GATEKEEPER can be forgiven a poor run at Royal Ascot last time and was in fine form before that.
SAFE VOYAGE is getting on a bit but retains lots of ability and won't be far away.
LEG 6: Markakol, Batal Zabeel
MARKAKOL is capable of much better than we saw on debut at Sandown.
BATAL ZABEEL was a good debut third at York and this drop in trip should be ideal.
