    McIntyre rumours rubbished

Drew McIntyre made his return at Money in the Bank for the first time since featuring at Wrestlemania 39.

Triple H addressed speculation about his time out the ring, saying: "I read stuff all the time that’s printed and put out there. ‘Sources say.’ 75 per cent of it is completely off base.

"If Drew had an issue, it’s news to me. He was out with an injury and getting stuff fixed. While he was out, he had something else to get fixed so we did it, and here he is.

"He’s an amazing performer. He is one of the highlight superstars in this era. Thrilled to have him back and hopefully, he’s here for the rest of his career."

    Wrestlemania to London?

After the success of last nights' event in London, Triple H was asked if fans could see Wrestlemania hit London some time soon.

He thanked John Cena, claiming he put him in an "unenviable position".

The WWE chief expressed his love for the English capital, saying: "I have been coming here since the early 90s, and it’s spectacular.

"Some of my favourite events here ever – my favourite things I did in my career have happened here, even sometimes without the benefit of television or it broadcast anywhere else.

"The reaction here was always off the charts.

"As far as WrestleMania goes, it’s tough. I wish it was that easy, I wish it was as easy as saying, 'Man, it’s phenomenal there, let’s go.'

    More international events to come?

Triple H gave fans a huge hint that more international events are coming.

He said: "You can look back at the years prior to that – skip the covid one – it’s not really been a common occurrence.

"Montreal, sold out, record sales. Puerto Rico, sold out, record sales, Saudi, sold out, record sales. London here, sold out, record sales.

"We are a global company. We intend to be a global company, we intend to be global. So, never say never for any of it. The intent is there.

"If there’s a way to get a lot of these international events done, we’re hellbent on doing them."

    Rhodes enjoys chants

Triple H has revealed that Cody Rhodes enjoys some of the rude chants from British fans but father Dusty Rhodes disagrees.

Roman Reigns was the subject of the fans' attack.

As explained in his press conference, Cody said he and his dad disagreed on this, but he feels like if the crowd wants to play, let them play, let it ride.

He indicated he may not agree with some of the chants and some may not be acceptable as someone with a younger fanbase, but let the fans rock.

He said if London is gearing up for a WrestleMania, they might want to keep that in mind.

He also said some of the chants are hard to understand and he always has to ask what they mean, and whether they are good or bad, but it’s fun.

    Baszler on Rousey dream match

WWE superstar Shayna Baszler spoke to SunSport's Kostas Lianos last year about a dream match with Ronda Rousey, whom she will face soon after she betrayed her at Money in the Bank.

When asked how she would react to fans dubbing her the underdog in this fight, Baszler said:

I’d think they didn’t do their study very well.

I’m far more experienced in wrestling, I have more championships than she does. It’s one thing in MMA, I think they would have an argument.

But I think professional wrestling is my world. She’s even said in interviews, the reason she’s here is because of me.

There’s also something to be said about two team-mates that spar a lot that know each other’s stuff really well. So I think it’d be a super close match either way.

    Priest talks title plans

Mr – or Senor as he prefers – Money in the Bank Damian Priest has revealed he has decided on the title he wants to cash in.

There's a lot to consider, and I'm considering everything. All the championships.

But I have my eye on one…

    And soon enough you'll know…

      Cody Rhodes on John Cena

Cody Rhodes opened up about an important piece of advice John Cena gave him:

John Cena told me, 'You could be the champ without wearing the title.

'But you have to be honest with yourself. Look at the numbers everywhere you go, look at the numbers on everything that you put out.

'And if they're telling you that it's cruising and it's going – cause there's a difference between soup de jour and someone we've gotten behind – then you're on the right path.'

      Drew McIntyre return

British megastar Drew McIntyre made a shock WWE return at Money in the Bank.

McIntyre was linked with an exit from Vince McMahon's promotion with reports claiming his contract was coming to an end and negotiations had hit a snag.

However, the first and only British WWE Champion ended the speculation with a shock return to London.

The two-time world champion took out Intercontinental Champion Gunther with a Glasgow Kiss and a Claymore.

That means he will rekindle his rivalry with The Ring General and challenge him for the title after coming up short at WrestleMania 39 where he lost a Triple Threat Match that also included Sheamus.

      IYO SKY cash in

IYO SKY won the Women's Money in the Bank Ladder Match at The O2 Arena.

A cash-in seems unlikely for the near future as SKY seems set to leave Damage CTRL.

There has been friction between the Japanese superstar and the group's leader Bayley and tension piled up at Money in the Bank.

The three-time women's champion threw SKY off the ladder in the closing stages.

The ex-NXT Women's Champion, though, fought back and tied her skipper with Becky Lynch with the use of handcuffs and climbed over her captain to retrieve the briefcase.

The Bloodline is finished, The Judgment Day may have friction and Damage CTRL is ready to implode – are we sure Vince McMahon is not running creative…?

      Damian Priest cash in

Damian Priest won the Men's Money in the Bank Ladder Match in London.

Now many are asking, when will Priest cash in his contract for a world title opportunity.

The ex-US Champion teased he will go after World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins, who competes on RAW.

However, the American cost Finn Balor the title and that could cause friction within The Judgment Day – so he may have too much on his plate for the next couple of months.

It is unlikely the 40-year-old will go after Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns as he is on SmackDown and is also a heel.

      Logan Paul's next appearance

Logan Paul came up short in the Men's Money in the Bank Ladder Match at The O2 Arena in London.

Paul had another magnificent spot with Ricochet – just a few months after the Royal Rumble – with the latter delivering a devastating Spanish Fly through two tables at ringside.

The social media sensation is probably not going to be seen again until SummerSlam.

That means The Maverick's next match will take place on August 5 at Ford Field in Detroit, Michigan.

      What's next for Roman Reigns?

Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns experienced a devastating loss as he and and cousin Solo Sikoa lost to The Usos at Money in the Bank.

Jey Uso became the first man to pin Reigns in a staggering three-and-a-half years.

WWE announcer Michael Cole strongly hinted that Jey could be The Tribal Chief's next challenger.

It will also be very interesting to see what kind of feedback Sikoa will receive from the temperamental Head of the Table on SmackDown.
