ALISON Hammond looked slimmer than ever as she returned to host This Morning in a black jumpsuit.

The 47-year-old was showered with praise from viewers who complimented her straight hair-do and trendy outfit.



One said: "You look amazing as always!..certainly give Holly a run for her money!..love the outfit."

Someone else added: "I love Alison Hammond. What a joy she is."

Alison, 47, has been showing off the incredible results of her recent weight loss by posting snaps on Instagram.

She looked glowing on-screen with co-presenter Dermot O'Leary today as the paired hosted their regular Friday slot.

Alison recently told how she's determined to live a "fantastic life" – despite coming to the realisation that she might die "a little bit sooner" because of her weight.

The mum of one is trolled on a daily basis about her size – but refuses to slim down for others.

She previously told The Mirror: "Sometimes I look at myself and go, 'Wow, I am a big girl'. But I like taking up a bit of space.

"I take a little bit of extra space in the world and I don't think I'm hurting anyone."

She added: "We're all going to die eventually. I might die a little bit sooner, but I'm going to live my life to the fullest.

"And if I do die sooner, I'm going to have a fantastic life. I'm going to have a wonderful life. I'm 47 now, I don't know how long I'm going to go on for."

Alison shot to fame when she competed in the third series of then-Channel 4 reality show Big Brother in 2002, and she went on to land a job as a reporter on This Morning in 2003.

She now co-hosts the brunch-time show every Friday with Dermot.
