All the times the Kardashians BANNED cameras from filming including Kylie Jenner's entire first pregnancy | The Sun

THE KARDASHIANS have banned filming certain milestone moments during their reality TV careers, as fans look back on every time the famous family forbade the cameras from rolling.

While the Hulu stars have been an open book regarding their personal lives, there are some things they've managed to keep private.

After the world watched eldest sibling, Kourtney Kardashian, 43, give birth to her firstborn son, Mason, now 12, on an episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians in 2010, fans thought there were no limits to what the family was willing to film.

KIM GIVES BIRTH

Kim Kardashian, 41, however, didn't follow her sister's lead as she and her then-husband, Kanye West, banned E! cameras from the delivery room when their two older children were born.

They welcomed their daughter North, nine, in 2013, and their son, Saint, seven, in 2015, without the film crew that usually follows their every move.

The former couple continued to shield their children from the public eye for the first years of their lives until they "developed an awareness," according to TMZ sources.

The idea may have been more Kanye's than Kim's, as the 45-year-old rapper has been vocal about not wanting his children to appear on the show.

"At the beginning, Kanye was like we’re absolutely not going to show our kids," Kim told the Hollywood Reporter in a 2017 cover story.

"That’s just not what I want to do. But as time goes on, I want my kids there with me when I’m filming. If we’re filming and they run in the room, I’m not going to stop the cameras," she explained.

The SKIMS founder was also respectful of Kanye's boundaries, saying he would approve his cuts on the show before they aired.

"I will get it and show him. He knows that I’m really protective of him. He doesn’t like to film everything. It’s not his show.”

She added: "I won’t really ever talk about something that’s going on with Kanye,” she says. “I’ll talk about my feelings about whatever is going on. I’m very respectful about how his filming is."

Kim and Kanye went on to have two more children, a daughter Chicago, four, and a son, Psalm, three, though they split in February 2021.

KYLIE'S PREGNANCY

Another family member who chose to keep her children's birth off-camera was the youngest sibling, Kylie Jenner.

The 24-year-old didn't even disclose that she was pregnant with her daughter, Stormi, until the little one had already arrived in February 2018.

While pregnant with Stormi, now four, Kylie posted photos on social media, but none of her bump, which she was hiding from the world.

She also didn't appear on KUWTK during this time.

The Kylie Cosmetics founder later apologized to her fans on Instagram for keeping them "in the dark" throughout her pregnancy.

She wrote: "I'm sorry for keeping you in the dark through all the assumptions.

"I understand you're used to me bringing you along on all my journeys. my pregnancy was one I chose not to do in front of the world. I knew for myself I needed to prepare for this role of a lifetime in the most positive, stress free, and healthy way I knew how.

"There was no gotcha moment, no big paid reveal i had planned. I knew my baby would feel every stress and every emotion so I chose to do it this way for my little life and our happiness."

Kylie shared a photo of the newborn's hand, which she appeared to be holding.

She captioned the post: "Stormi Webster," revealing her daughter's name.

Four years later, Kylie welcomed her second child with rapper Travis Scott, 31, again keeping any details under wraps.

Fans finally got a glimpse into Kylie's second pregnancy during the latest season of the family's new Hulu show, The Kardashians.

The makeup mogul – who has yet to announce her son's name – showed off her growing bump just weeks before her baby boy's February arrival.

She has since teased photos of the newborn's feet and hands on social media but hasn't revealed his face.

KENDALL'S ROMANCE

It's not just the children that the Kardashian-Jenner siblings have been protective of over the years.

Kendall Jenner has opted to keep her relationship with her boyfriend, Devin Booker, out of the limelight throughout their two-year romance.

The duo was friends for years, as they used to go on double dates when dating Ben Simmons and Jordyn Woods, respectively.

Rumors began circulating about Devin and Kendall dating when they were spotted outside a rest stop in Sedona, Arizona, in early 2020.

Things heated up in the fall of 2020 as the pair began to show more interest in each other and share more romantic dates.

On Valentine's Day 2021, Kendall took to Instagram to share an adorable photo of the pair, confirming their romance.

A source previously told In Touch that the couple’s chemistry is "off the charts.”

The insider claimed: "They can’t keep their hands off each other. They have a natural rapport that isn’t forced.

"Devin makes her laugh [and] makes her feel safe. They love traveling together, they love eating really bad food, they like the same movies, there are no awkward moments."

Despite their chemistry and connection, Us Weekly reported the new duo aren't that "serious" and just having "fun with each other."

While the athlete has yet to make his debut on The Kardashians, fans have speculated that the couple parted ways.

Followers noticed that Devin, 25, had archived or deleted a photo he had posted of the model, 26, on New Year's Eve, prompting chatter that the lovebirds split.

One fan also claimed the athlete had unliked tweets about Kendall and that his brother had unfollowed her on Instagram.

They wrote in a post: "Kendall and Devin might be off… Devin deleted or archived his photo of Kendall from New Years.

"Devin unliked all tweets he had liked about Kendall. Devin's brother unfollowed Kendall on IG."

Another fan claimed that Devin's brother had initially unfollowed Kendall in November, then followed her before unfollowing again at the weekend.

Additionally, neither Kendall nor Devin posted anything on Instagram about their second anniversary on Sunday.

However, they still follow each other on Instagram and were photographed together last week.

KHLOE'S STRUGGLES

Khloe Kardashian, 37, has also had her fair share of boyfriend drama as her public breakup from her baby daddy, Tristan Thompson, 31, played out on screen.

But before Tristan showed his cheating ways, Khloe was dealing with her now ex-husband, Lamar Odom's health struggles, which she kept off the show.

Khloe and Lamar, 42, got hitched in 2009 after dating for just one month and were married until 2016 before getting divorced.

While the pair were married, they appeared happy in front of the cameras, as they even starred in their own spin-off show, Khloe & Lamar.

Despite their seemingly blissful marriage, numerous reports surfaced alleging Lamar abused drugs.

In October of 2015, Lamar was rushed to a Las Vegas hospital after suffering an accidental overdose at the Love Ranch brothel, and Khloe remained by his side while he was in a coma for four days.

At the time, she withdrew her pending divorce petition but revealed that the decision was made only so that she could make medical decisions on Lamar's behalf.

"He OD’d during the divorce and I was his next of kin, even though it was still, the divorce was still – it was on the judge’s desk," she said on the Divorce Sucks With Laura Wasser podcast.

"It was like two years, or like a year or two of us trying to get the divorce going and then this happened."

She continued, "And then we paused the divorce, not for any romantic reasons but I wanted to be able to help take care of him and make sure that he would be OK again."

Lamar recently returned to reality TV as a castmate on Celebrity Big Brother, where he admitted that he misses his ex-wife and wants to reconnect with her after the show.

Khloe addressed her ex's comments during an appearance on the Not Skinny, Not Fat podcast, saying she thought Lamar's words were "sweet" about their seven-year marriage.
