Call the Midwife’s Helen George has been spotted leaving co-star Olly Rix’s home.
The two actors — who play on-screen lovers Trixie Franklin and Matthew Aylward — are reported to have been getting close off set following splits from their partners. The pair are said to have been comforting each other amid their recent emotional turmoil.
Helen split from her partner Jack Ashton – who plays Tome Hereward – in July after they first met on the set of the show several years earlier. In real life the pair were said to have got together after travelling to film the show's 2016 Christmas Special in South Africa.

A year later they welcomed their first child Wren before their second child, another daughter called Lark arrived in November 2021. Before her relationship with Jack, Helen was married to actor Oliver Boot for three years before they split in 2015.
At about the same time as Helen, Olly split from his make-up artist girlfriend Natasha Fagri after seven years together.
A source saw the duo together and told The Sun: "Olly looked relaxed. Helen emerged later, around lunchtime. She was carrying a large tote bag and looked a little dishevelled.
They added: "It’s been a tricky year for both Helen and Olly. They have been spending a lot of time together on set, walking their dogs together and chatting a lot."
It was added that they both respect each other and support one another. It has been reported that Olly has been written out of the show too which will shock viewers.
In February, viewers watched their characters tie the knot in a sweet wedding for the season finale.
Last year Olly described glimpsing Helen in her white dress during the show’s wedding scene as a “heart-stopping moment”.
He told ITV’s Lorraine: "It was a busy day and lots and lots of people in the church and there wasn’t much time to put a plan in place, but I did everything I could to make sure I didn’t see Helen before she arrived on set.
"I had no idea what the dress was going to look like. I spoke to the guys dropping us down there and I said, ‘Please make sure we don’t cross paths, I don’t want to see her until I see her walking down the aisle.’
"And, amazingly, it worked. It was a bit of a heart-stopping moment."
