Casualty pays tribute to 75 years of NHS
Casualty viewers were left less than impressed on Saturday night as they slammed the change in editing style.
During the episode, the hospital was overrun with patients from a festival, which saw some admitted due to drug use, and one teenager lose his life.
Meanwhile, Faith Cadogan (played by Kirsty Mitchell) continued to lie about having cancer to Stevie Nash (Elinor Lawless) to cover her drug addiction.
However, it was the style of editing that left BBC viewers distracted, as they slammed the seemingly shaky camerawork.
Taking to Twitter, @chloeelou_x fumed: “The camera shaking and zooming in and out is ANNOYING.”

@ifrainsank reeled: “I haven’t seen #Casualty for years! They’re doing the handheld camera thing now. The cameraman zooms in on EVERY shot as American comedy shows do. How absurd.”
@suggywell18 commented: “Really hope the camera work tonight is a once-off! The zooming is an overkill!”
@JoyIsAKiwi added: “Can the camera keep still?? Swear it doesn’t usually move this lot. It’s making me dizzy.”
@MonaghanCalum1 tweeted: “The camera work is different this week. Keeps zooming in and out! Don’t think I like it.”

However, @TonyD9999 welcomed the change, as he tweeted: “Really enjoying the different style, constantly moving camera, mini crash zooms and snappy editing.”
During the episode, fans also saw Donna Jackson (Jaye Jacobs) confess to Max (Nigel Harman) that she’s the person responsible for causing the crash that’s derailed troubled Ashely Morgan’s (Connor Curren) life.
After falling asleep at the wheel due to being exhausted from work, Donna crashed into a car but denied being to blame at the scene, which resulted in Ash facing jail time for dangerous driving.
With his mum in a coma, along with Ash facing homelessness and self-harming, Donna is consumed by guilt and vows to help.
Although it all became too much and she broke down to Max admitting she wanted to confess to the police what she had done.
Despite Max urging her to think about what’s at stake as she has children to look after, fans saw Donna admit to the police the crash was her fault.
Casualty continues next Saturday on BBC One from 9:15
