Dancing on Ices The Vivienne talks difficult aspect of show as final looms

Dancing on Ice star The Vivenne has opened up on the show's intense training schedule ahead of the grand final.

The RuPaul's Drag Race UK winner and her partner Colin Grafton will go head-to-head against Olympian Nile Wilson and TOWIE icon Joey Essex this weekend in a bid to lift the prestigious winner's trophy.

After weeks of live shows and gruelling training sessions, it all comes down to the grand finale where the three remaining couples will prepare three routines.

There will be a Battle Round, a chance to show off their best moves in a Showcase skate and the final two couples will get to skate the iconic Bolero in front of creators Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean.

Speaking about the potential of doing the Bolero, The Vivienne said: "I definitely want to be pay homage to Jayne's hair from the original number so i'm going to do that.

"It's like being given a block of gold that you've got to take care of and give it back to them on the night and hope they like it.

"It's such an iconic piece of figure skating history you're trusted with to do on live TV. Money can't buy the experience we're getting right now.

"To do a three-hour choreography session with Christopher Dean is mind-blowing."

The Vivienne, who won the first-ever series of Drag Race UK, also shared the most difficult part of Dancing on Ice.

"Probably the training because it's intense," the TV personality revealed.

"The training beforehand not so much but when it gets to live shows, you do the Sunday and then you're straight back in on the Monday morning.

"No day off and you have to completely memorise a whole new routine of something you're not used to on ice and then you have to forget it and learn a new one in seven days."

Addressing whether or not they'll continue skating after the competition ends, Viv said: "Definitely my skates are going to be firmly stuck in my drag bag forever.

"I'll be straight on the tour bus and looking for the nearest ice rink."

Dancing on Ice: The Final airs Sunday, March 12 at 6.30pm on ITV1 and ITVX
