EastEnders fans have predicted Callum Highway will find a way to get Ben Mitchell’s abuser locked up after he learnt about his sexual assault.

During Thursday’s visit to Albert Square, the TV gangster plucked up the courage to report his rapist Lewis Butler to the police after he got the Irishman to confess to his crimes when he held him at gunpoint.

After suffering in silence for so long, Ben finally told those closest to him what he went through after his late-night fling turned sour.

While he waited to give his statement in the police station, he bumped into his ex-husband – the final person who he kept in the dark about his assault – where he interrogated his partner about what really happened on that fateful night.

Worried for his husband, he asked: "Ben, just tell me – what's happened to you? Ben, you've got to tell me.

"If someone's hurt you, I've got to know. Ben, please, I'm your husband."

Feeling vulnerable, Ben muttered: "I tried to stop him as he gave the officer a knowing look hinting at his one-night stand with Lewis last month.

After learning the truth, Callum confessed: "This is it, isn't it? This is why you were always going out, the drink, the drugs, and to think I could have lost you Ben because of him.

"Lewis told me that you wanted it. I'll kill him."

After watching the heart-wrenching scenes, fans flooded to Twitter to share their theories on social media.
