EastEnders Phil and Linda twist, Emmerdale Caleb aftermath and 23 soap spoilers

There are twists aplenty in the land of soap next week, with big discoveries set to be made by many a mainstay, with potentially game-changing events on the cards as a result.

EastEnders sees not only a murder twist, but also the highly-anticipated revelation about what George Knight is hiding, with Linda Carter joining forces with Phil Mitchell in a bid to find out the truth about her new soon-to-be stepfather.

Emmerdale, meanwhile, airs the aftermath of Caleb Miligan’s attack, with many questions set to be asked – and a shocking arrest is made.

Over in Coronation Street, Adam Barlow kisses wife Sarah Platt in a bid to antagonise Damon Hay, who is swiftly becoming his number one enemy, while Hollyoaks sees Sam Chen-Williams face the consequences over his refusal to leave Zoe Anderson alone.

Sounds like quite a week, right?

EastEnders

1. Suki plays the perfect wife and mother but Vinny, who has found out about her relationship with Eve, remains unforgiving, threatening Eve, who urges Suki to stop living a lie. With Eve failing to take his warning, Vinny tampers with Finlay’s sports car, knowing Eve is about drive it to Brighton. Suki works out what her son has done and races to Taylor’s Autos to put a stop to his plan.

2. Vinny is unfazed when Suki confronts him over what he’s done, believing that she’s simply trying to protect her secret lover. Suki reiterates that she’s chosen her family and that things are over with Eve, with the matriarch convincing Nish to allow their son the opportunity to sack Eve from the business.

3. Still suspicious about George, Linda has a word with Phil about Rose Knight, urging him to look into it. Phil takes her advice, getting Callum on the case, with the detective discovering something fishy, as George has a clean record but access is denied when it comes to Rose, which Linda reckons is proof that something isn’t right. One thing leads to another, as all is revealed in a special episode, airing Friday.

4. Ben is struggling with his bulimia when Jay has to take a call and heads out. With the toilets closed, he starts panicking and leaves Lexi alone in Walford East. Lexi is devastated by the sight of a mother and daughter together and runs out into the Square. Billy is horrified to realise that Ben left Lexi by herself, laying the law down to Ben, telling him that he needs to step up.

5. Lily and Ricky try to come up with money-making schemes and end up luring Theo Hawthorne back to Walford. When he arrives, Lily tells him about their predicament and that she’s going to sell her trainers, but Theo reassures her and gives her some money. He instructs her to tell Stacey the cash came from Ricky doing odd jobs, and Lily is thrilled that she’s played him.

6. Keanu realises that Finlay’s car was deliberately tampered with, subsequently relaying the discovery to Finlay, who is left in shock, believing someone tried to hurt him. Things, however, take a turn when Finlay finds Vinny’s necklace under the vehicle!

7. Bobby is struggling with Kathy’s guest wish list and gets a knock back. Kathy thanks him for trying, but Bobby decides not to give up.

Coronation Street

8. Ryan continues to struggle, with Daniel urging Daisy to pay him a visit. Daisy does just that, with Ryan admitting that he’s missed her, leaning in for a kiss, with Daisy kissing him back. Things become a lot more complicated, however, as Ryan discovers that Daisy was the one catfishing him as Crystal and, devastated, he plans to reveal the truth about their kisses to Daniel.

9. Amy tells Summer that she intends to start afresh and focus on uni, but when her tutor tells her she’s got to repeat the whole year, Amy contemplates dropping out. Summer tries to cheer her up by pointing out that by re-doing the year they’ll be starting together.

10. Shona assures Max that if he’s truthful with Bec about his past, she’ll realise he’s a changed person and appreciate his honesty. Buoyed by her words, Max goes to meet Bec, but Alya gets in first, confronting a mortified Max, asking him when he was planning to tell her that he’s a terrorist.

11 Sarah’s pleased when Adam pulls her in for a kiss but when she spots Damon she realises it was for his benefit not hers. Adam urges Nick to cut Damon adrift, branding him ‘poisonous’.

12. When Roy tells Evelyn that he’s feeling a lot better and it’s time Freddie moved back home she does her best to disguise her sadness. 

13. When Isabella offends yet more people in the café, Brian admits that he can’t wait for her to return to Italy tomorrow. However, he’s later left horrified to discover that he’s stuck with Isabella for a further two weeks!

14. As Paul climbs off the bus with his shopping, his leg gives way, sending him to the pavement. Bernie rushes over to help him and persuades a reluctant Paul to let her try out her crystal therapy on him.

Emmerdale

15. Caleb is in a coma following the life-threatening attack. Chas is suspicious of Cain, while Will is questioned by the police, with Kim and Gabby coming to his rescue, corroborating his story. Leyla, meanwhile, is urged to tell the truth, while Mack tries to play clueless when he is quizzed by the authorities.

16. Charity worries for Mack when Chloe loses faith in his innocence. The landlady heads to the hospital to check in on Caleb, much to Chas’ shock, with the two women arguing over Mack’s potential guilt. Nicky, meanwhile, turns up to see his dad.

17. Word of Mandy and Paddy’s relationship travels around the village, with Chas upset as a result. Paddy, meanwhile, turns down Mandy’s request to stay the night and subsequently makes excuses, leaving her feeling deflated.

18.Jai and Laurel are worried that they cannot afford a visit to Australia, which leads to some conflict under their roof.

19. Amelia is determined to use social media as a good thing for she and Esther. Dan is cautious but agrees to trust her, with Amelia delighted as her new project gets off to a successful start, until she receives a creepy message. Dan is impressed as her phone continues to buzz, but Amelia receives yet another creepy message, leaving her concerned.

20. Belle is worried when she receives word that Lachlan White has been moved to another prison. Worried about overwhelming Tom, she refrains from telling her beau what’s on her mind, but Tom ultimately finds out the truth. Belle’s anxieties are unintentionally triggered by Jai, with Tom unable to reach her, as he partners up with Chas to find Belle, who has disappeared.

Hollyoaks

21. Ethan is determined to befriend Rafe in a bid to get an invite to the clay pigeon shooting, and he succeeds in doing just that. As the day of the shooting arrives, Sienna and Ethan vie for Rafe’s attention, which proves difficult due to the arrival of the Lord’s dog Henry – not to mention Tony Hutchinson, who has managed to secure an invite. Despite the obstacles, Sienna ultimately shines, that is until her gun goes off, spooking Henry.

22. Damon and Zara go on a pretend stakeout ahead of the bank heist, but one thing leads to another, with the pair sharing a kiss.

23. Sam harasses Zoe once again, leaving Maxine concerned. The former policeman then takes things to a disturbing new level, entering Zoe’s flat without being invited, refusing to leave until she hears him out. Zoe reiterates that she doesn’t love him anymore. Maxine is horrified to hear about what transpired, with Sam subsequently picked up by the police after a report is made about his actions.

24. Romeo rushes off to greet Peri once she returns home. With grief and emotions getting to her when looking through pictures of Juliet, Peri dashes off. Romeo goes after her, telling Rayne it’s best that she doesn’t come with him, which leaves Rayne seething with jealously.

25. Warren is shocked to see Sally looking under a car bonnet. Sally explains why she’s there, unaware that Mercedes and Felix are trying to keep the garage’s struggling financial issues from him. When Felix returns to the garage, Warren lashes out for keeping the truth a secret.
