Coronation Street, EastEnders, Emmerdale and Hollyoaks bring plenty of twists and turns this week as Valentine's Day arrives in soapland.

Fans up and down the country can expect plenty of heartbreak, tension and hard-hitting scenes as our favourite characters continue to cause chaos.

Love is in the air over in Hollyoaks village as Juliet finally shares her true feeling for ex Peri but things aren't look as good in Albert Sqaure as Jack forgets it's Valentine's Day.

Stephen Reid is back up to his old tricks in Weatherfield as he spikes Carla and the Dingles call a family meeting with Paddy still missing.

Coronation Street

Weatherfield youngster Max finds out his fate next week as he appears in court.

Elsehwere, Carla Connor (Alison King) is spiked by Stephen Reid (Todd Boyce) as he gets revenge.

Also, Paul Foreman (Peter Ash) gets mowed down by Carla as she drives unaware that she has been drugged by evil Stephen, leaving her partner Peter Barlow (Chris Gascoyne) convinced her psychosis has returned.

EastEnders

Ryan Malloy (Neil McDermott) returns to Albert Square to support his pregnant daughter Lily Slater (Lillia Turner) and he drops a huge bombshell.

Sharon Watts (Letitia Dean) moves forward with her plans to buy Mick’ Carter's (Danny Dyer) half of The Vic but will things go to plan?

Denise (Diane Parish) and Jack Branning's (Scott Maslen) relationship woes worsen when he fails to remember that it’s Valentine’s Day.

Emmerdale

With Paddy Kirk (Dominic Brunt) missing, the Dingles pull together to plan a search party. Soon, everyone is on pins as PC Swirling arrives revealing news about a reported sighting of Paddy.

April Windsor (Amelia Flanagan) takes drastic action to keep her dad Marlon Dingle (Mark Charnock) safe as he continues to struggle with the effects of the stroke he suffered last year.

Already anxious ahead of the hearing, Cain Dingle’s (Jeff Hordley) put out when Amy Wyatt (Natalie Ann Jamieson) keeps to the bail conditions preventing him from seeing his son Kyle Winchester (Huey Quinn).

Hollyoaks

Mercedes McQueen (Jennifer Metcalfe) books a one-way ticket for Matthew-Jesus (Matthew Clohessy) to go and stay with Myra in Alicante while John Paul McQueen (James Sutton) continues to spiral on his alcohol relapse.

Juliet Nightingale (Niamh Blackshaw) goes through with her plan and reveals her true feelings for Peri. Lomax (Ruby O'Donnell).

Tony Hutchinson (Nick Pickard) takes Darren Osborne (Ashley TaylorDawson) up on his offer to help at The Dog but passing comments from his friend about Diane Hutchinson (Alex Fletcher) training with his son Beau (Jon-Paul Bell) eaves Tony feeling threatened.
