Emmerdale: Chloe remembers the crash
Emmerdale fans couldn’t help but point out what they considered to be a blunder in the current plotline following Monday’s episode.
Fans of the ITV soap know Chloe Harris (played by Jessie Elland) narrowly escaped death recently, following a horror crash alongside Mackenzie Boyd (Lawrence Robb) and Charity Dingle (Emma Atkins).
Mack chose to save his ex-wife Charity and left Chloe in the car, which plunged off a cliff and left her in a coma.
Chloe is acting like she doesn’t remember details about the crash, but she admitted on Monday that she knew Mack had chosen to save Charity, whom he confessed his love for last week.
However, viewers couldn’t help but be distracted by Chloe’s miraculous recovery.

Taking to X, formerly Twitter, @Lady_Lozzie wrote: “I want some of whatever patients get in #Emmerdale hospital… how is Chloe walking on crutches so soon after her lifesaving brain surgery!”
@mikepriestley13 echoed this, posting: “Chloe rolled down the cliff then rollled on the field.
“Intensive care and out of hospital this quick. Only soapland. #Emmerdale.”
@LynnHartley7 added: “Chloe’s done really well seeing as she was at death’s door. #Emmerdale.”

@RussC2023 complained: “Usual story on #emmerdale, Chloe was in a coma on Thursday, now she’s home. Already had her new car from the insurance? My a***.”
“I can’t watch #Emmerdale at the moment with this crash storyline. It’s so poorly done,” @Shakytucker penned, adding: “Of course Chloe (& the other 2) could survive a car crash that would kill anyone, then the car falls off a cliff but amazingly is 1 piece, she lives and is out of hospital in a week. Soaps hey!” (sic)
@yvylew pointed out: “Oh wait! #Chloe is out of hospital already. I thought she has a fractured pelvis #Emmerdale.”
@MattZeeMiller commented: “#Emmerdale Falls down a cliff looks dead… Less than 2 weeks later back in the village on crutches. Local hospital miracle workers wow.”
Chloe admitted to sister Amy Wyatt that Mack had cheated on her with Charity, which she’d found out just before the crash.
She also explained how Mack had left her to die by choosing to save Charity from the vehicle.
She seemed undecided on what to do about Mack’s choices, but some fans think she could be biding her time in order to plot the ultimate revenge.
Emmerdale continues on Tuesday at 7pm on ITV.
