Emmerdale fans ‘work out’ death twist after cow stampede and it’s not Sam Dingle

Emmerdale fans think they have figured out a death twist after the terrifying cow stampede on Monday and it's not Sam Dingle.

Only recently, viewers were left horrified as Sam's lifeless body was seen on a tractor spike after attempting to escape the cow stampede.

During the episode, the village continued to struggle with the terrifying storm and winds, especially over at Moira Dingle's farm.

As the storm started to destroy the farm, Sam and Nate Robinson were left worried about the animals, especially the cows as the pen was rattling loose.

And true to their worries, it wasn't long until the cows were able to escape as they caused a terrifying stampede with Sam and Nate having to sprint for their lives.

Sam was able to jump over the hay bales to escape the cows while Nate was brutally trampled by the cattle before getting back up.

However, viewers were left horrified as the ITV soap revealed a chilling twist at the end of the episode as it showed Sam's body lifeless on a tractor spike after his jump to escape went wrong.

During Tuesday's instalment, Sam was conscious but still trapped on the tractor spike as his life hung in the balance while Nate and Belle Dingle attempted to cut him free.

Soap watchers have been left fearing that Sam could die but other viewers think he will survive and someone else could actually die instead.

Fans think that Nate could die in a shocking twist due to internal injuries after he was trampled by the cows during the terrifying stampede.

Taking to Twitter, one person said: "The worrry is for Nate….internal bleeding could of happened… #Emmerdale."

A different account put: "He [Sam] won't die, it was through the shoulder, the other lad [Nate] will have internal bleeding #Emmerdale."

To which another follower replied: "Exact what I said!"

While a different viewer added: "Nobody survives cow trample!"
