Naomi Walter's trial is in fall swing in Emmerdale next week but will she be able to prove her innocence and disassociate herself from Nicola King's gruesome attack?
As the trial begins, Naomi is flabbergasted when Saskia's barrister argues that the defendants were no longer friends with Naomi after they had an altercation over money.
The barrister also suggests Naomi felt ostracised from the gang and this is why she’s dragged the defendants into this mess.

However later on, Naomi's barrister, runs rings around Nicola on the stand, highlighting to the jury that her case against Naomi is lacking evidence deemed credible.
Back at home at the village, Nicola’s roiling at the injustice of what she’ll do if the gang do manage to get off.
Meanwhile, Naomi begins to consider the possibility that she might end up going down for a crime she didn’t commit.
On Thursday's episode, Naomi runs into a manipulative Saskia in the court toilets, insinuating that Naomi owes her money.
Threatening her, Saskia tells Naomi that she isn't afraid to frag her family into this if she doesn’t change her version of events.
The prosecution barrister cross examines a composed Saskia on the stand and points out Naomi has implicated herself in a serious crime, appealing to the jury that her client has no motive to lie about the situation.
When it's time for Naomi to take to the stand she tries to ignore Saskia as she prepares to give her version of events.
But when the defence barrister gives Naomi a hard time during her cross examination, Naomi explodes with upset and outrage as she comes clean about Saskia’s threats that has been made towards her.
As the trial draws to a close, the judge addresses the jury urging them to think carefully and assess the evidence presented to them but it quickly becomes clear Nicola’s not optimistic.
While back at home, Nicola is feeling exhausted and fed up.
Elsewhere, Ethan and Charles try to encourage a downbeat Naomi but she has already resigned herself that she could be spending some time behind bars.
