Liam Fox shares he was a police officer in Emmerdale in the past
Emmerdale actor Liam Fox once played a young police officer in the ITV soap before landing his role as Dan Spencer.
The soap star appeared on Friday’s This Morning where Alison Hammond and Dermot O’Leary shared an old clip from the long-running drama.
Liam admitted he’d appeared in Emmerdale as several different characters – mainly police officers- before bagging his permanent role.
The actor looked worlds away from his Dan Spencer role, with Alison telling him “You look so young.”
“You were in Emmerdale back in the day as a kid, weren’t you?” Dermot asked.

Liam replied: “Oh yeah, I did different cop roles and stuff.”
“How many times?” the host asked as the actor laughed: “Many times, four or five different coppers with different names.”
The hosts proceeded to show a clip of Liam as a police officer and he can be heard saying: “So would you happen to notice Mr Mullen’s car leaving the village? And you didn’t see him come back?”
“Well, contrary to popular opinion, I don’t spend my life chasing their property,” the culprit replied.

“Did you go out that day at all, sir?” Liam’s character asked as the man replied: “Yeah, I went to the pub with Alan.”
He continued: “Alright, well thank you, both of you have been very helpful.”
As the clip finished, Alison commented: “You look so young.”
“Where did it all go wrong?” Liam joked as the host added: “Unbelievable.”
Liam is currently involved in a huge storyline which saw the mechanic getting arrested for punching Amelia Spencer’s (Daisy Campbell) stalker.
This Morning airs weekdays at 10am on ITV.
