Faith reveals she's ready to die after perfect final day in Emmerdale

Faith Dingle’s (Sally Dexter) day at the Emmerdale seaside was simply perfect.

Initially, she hoped to leave the village and go to the beach with her family, but because of Faith’s deteriorating health, Cain (Jeff Hordley) decided that if his mum can’t go to the seaside, the seaside will have to come to her.

And it really did.

As the morning began, friends and family including Rhona (Zoe Henry), Eric (Chris Chittell), Marlon (Mark Charnock) and Mandy (Lisa Riley) were all doing their bit to make Faith’s trip to the beach the best experience ever.

When Faith arrived, she was moved to tears, completely taken aback at the village residents all working together for her.

The day itself was exciting and full of typical seaside specialities. Ice cream, snacks, games, the younger members of the families were having an amazing day, while the older ones enjoyed spending more time with Faith knowing soon enough, time will run out.

As the afternoon ended, Faith was talking to Zak (Steve Halliwell).

The noise from the beach had stopped, we didn’t hear any shouting or arguing (perhaps expected in a standard episode), it was just Faith telling Zak about how much she enjoyed her day and that if she died tomorrow, she would be happy, because she’s now ‘at peace’.

Holding a photo to her heart, Faith looked in the distance, unaware Moira (Natalie J Robb) had heard everything, fearing whether tomorrow will end up being the day where Faith ends her life.
