Faye Winter reveals secret breast cancer scare as she admits fearing her life was 'falling apart' | The Sun

FAYE Winter has opened up about having sleepless nights after finding a lump in her breast.

The Love Island star felt her life was "falling apart" while she waited for her scan results mid a cancer scare.

To mark breast cancer awareness month, 28-year-old Faye penned a heartfelt message on Instagram.

Sharing a snap of herself in the hospital waiting room, Faye wrote: "October is a month to spread awareness for breast cancer, words we hope that none of us will hear in our life time however, one in eight of us unfortunately will.

"The words are frightening, devastating and you will feel completely over whelmed.

"The positive thoughts of 'it will be nothing' with the voice in the back of your head saying 'what if'.

"I was so lucky back in June to be given the all clear on a lump I had found a couple of months prior.

"So many will also be given good news, but it doesn’t make those few weeks or months any easier.

"Checking our breasts and pecks is essential. It’s okay to be nervous and scared but don’t put it off and don’t shy away because getting it checked is the first step to getting the all clear."

Faye admitted how she felt in that moment, as she sat waiting to find out the results of her breast examination.

Faye has had a difficult year following her split from boyfriend Teddy Soares.

The pair met on Love Island 2022's summer series.

Faye has accused Teddy of cheating with a number of cryptic posts online.

Yesterday he hit back after she admitted there's nothing she misses about her past relationships.

Teddy said: "I haven't seen or heard Faye's comments but they don't matter to me anymore. She is entitled to say what she wants.

"I know how I felt in the relationship and there are still lots of things about Faye that I miss.

"If she doesn't miss anything about me then, damn, of course that's not nice to hear but she can say what she wants. We have both moved on but I don't regret my time together.
