Linda Carter (Kellie Bright) has been absolutely furious since the Knight clan arrived and took over her beloved Queen Vic in EastEnders.
Having gone into business with mum Elaine Peacock (Harriet Thorpe), she hadn’t expected a whole new family to tag along and turn her life completely upside down.
In recent scenes, she confronted patriarch George Knight (Colin Salmon), after overhearing a conversation with him and eldest daughter Gina (Francesca Henry).
Gina had become upset after learning that Elaine had accepted George’s marriage proposal, and George was determined to comfort her.
He promised that if she was really unhappy then they would move back to the bar in Marbella, as, even though it would break his heart to lose Elaine, he didn’t want to see her upset.

This set the cogs whirring in Linda’s brain, who was already suspicious about George’s intentions for the bar in Marbella.
Sitting down with her laptop, she did some research, and discovered that George’s bar had been put on the market way over price.
When he came upstairs, she presented her findings, and accused him of not wanting to sell the bar at all.
She accused him of wanting to steal Elaine’s money, suggesting that he was so ashamed of his wife leaving him that he wanted to con every woman he could.
Her comments about his wife clearly touched a nerve, as he slowly shut the laptop and issued her a stark warning.
He told her to mind her own business, claiming tat what he did with his bar was nothing to do with her.
He also pointed out that he was in Walford to stay, despite Linda’s suspicions.
Is Linda right to be worried? Is George hiding something big?
