The Lord of the Rings: Rings of Power is making its way to its grand finale with plenty of shocks erupting around Middle Earth this week. The big-budget drama series is reportedly Amazon Prime Video’s most expensive show ever made with each episode estimated to have cost £49million ($57million). Rings of Power is based on J.R.R. Tolkien’s appendices to The Lord of the Rings and has an expansive cast including Nazanin Boniadi as fearsome warrior Bronwyn.

How old is Nazanin Boniadi?

Nazanin was born on May 22, 1980, in Tehran, Iran and is currently 42.

Her family fled their home country after the Iranian Revolution and moved to London, where the actress was raised.

The star actually started out in a very different field and has a degree in biological sciences from the University of California.

However, in 2006 she decided to have a career change and began pursing acting.

Nazanin attended a short course at the prestigious Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London.

She started off her career playing Leyla Mir on General Hospital: Night Shift and General Hospital between 2007 and 2009.

The star went on to star in The Game, Charlie Wilson’s War, Iron Man and Shades of Ray, and The Deep End.
