Holly Willoughby’s This Morning exit decision was ‘made for her’ says ITV star

Loose Women: Frankie and Janet have a disagreement over Holly

Loose Women’s Frankie Bridge believes Holly Willoughby’s decision to leave This Morning was made for her.

On Tuesday evening, the ITV presenter took to social media to reveal she won’t be returning to the show.

The 42-year-old was last seen on the sofa alongside Josie Gibson last Wednesday.

Following her abrupt absence, Holly confirmed to her fans she had decided to quit the show after 14 years.

Speaking about her sudden departure on Loose Women, panellist Frankie Bridge shared her experiences with the presenter when appearing on This Morning.

She said: “She was always so lovely to go on with, she was always so warm and welcoming whenever you went into the studio.

“I think it’s such a shame, I feel like the choice had to be made for her in a way-”

However, the Loose Women star was cut off mid-sentence by her colleague Janet Street-Porter who disagreed with Frankie’s statement.

Janet commented: “I think she made the decision because 14 years is a long time and it’s a good time to stop.
