Hollyoaks fans will be seeing a lot more of Joel Dexter (Rory Douglas-Speed) in upcoming scenes as he takes centre stage in a gripping new storyline.

In recent scenes, the village vicar finally admitted defeat and wrote a letter to dad Warren Fox (Jamie Lomas) explaining that he was responsible for running him over earlier this year.

At the last second, Sienna Blake (Anna Passey) pitied him and agreed they should put all the drama all behind them.

However, a spying Norma Crow (Glynis Barber) managed to get her hands on the letter and told Warren where to find the culprit of the hit and run.

Sienna realised that a vengeful Warren was heading to where Joel is and, fearing the worst, she rushed after him.

However, she is too late as Warren fired his gun and without realising its his son, Joel.

As Hollyoaks viewers Daily Star takes at the actor Rory Douglas-Speed's life.
