ITV's I'm A Celebrity South Africa has teased a dark turn as campmates are yet again forced to vote each other out of the jungle.

The brutal twist, which is a historic first for the reality series, saw Amir Kahn chosen by camp to get the boot earlier this week.

Now the remaining celebs will have to choose someone else to go as hosts Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly were seen revealing to the contestants that they must now decide each other's fates.

Past seasons have always relied on the public to make the tough decisions, but now, the stars themselves must face the heart-wrenching task of eliminating their fellow celebrities.

The teaser show’s what is believed to be Paul Burrell’s voice, saying: “should we just sacrifice Janice?” as the rest of the campmates appear shocked and stressed at the task of voting off one of their own.

Tonight’s episode saw former Coronation Street star Helen Flanagan shock everyone with her sudden "potty mouth" during the latest Bushtucker trial.

The contestants faced one of the toughest challenges yet, titled bug-tanical gardens, where Flanagan and Paul Burrell were tasked with pulling courgettes out of boxes of offal and pools filled with crocodiles.

If successful, they would win a lavish picnic outside of camp while the other team was forced to eat rice and beans.

After Flanagan won the challenge, beating out Burrell, she caught up with Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly to discuss the trial.

However, it was soon revealed that the mum-of-three had quite the foul language during the ordeal, much to Burrell's disappointment and Flanagan's embarrassment.

"I mean it was a bit hairy for a few moments, wasn't it? There were a lot of F-bombs," complained Ant.

"I'm sorry guys and I'm sorry mum. I promise guys I'm not normally a swearer but it was worth everything," Flanagan apologized.

Burrell reassured her: "You did very well."

Other contestants to face the boot so far include Shaun Ryder and Gillian McKeith, who lost a task against their peers which resulted in their time in the jungle coming to an end.
