Im A Celeb star says relieving sexual tension not possible due to jungle mics

Former I'm a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! star AJ Pritchard has said that it's impossible to relieve any sexual tension in the jungle because of the microphones everywhere.

But the ex Strictly Come Dancing pro has said hunger is more of a priority anyway, because campmates can smell the filming crew's grub.

The 27-year-old's comments come after incoming campmate Olivia Attwood admitted she'd struggle with having no sex for a few weeks.

AJ said: "There are mics everywhere, even in the toilet. You can take off the one around your neck but they'll still be able to hear you through the mic above."

He added to The Sun: "But to be honest, normally your head just goes to food because that's a priority, your stomach starts rumbling and then it's all you can think of.

"You could smell if someone had a packet of crisps or anything else, you'd get a waft of something salty or sweet and you could hear them opening the foil."

Arriving in Australia last week for the jungle experience, Olivia, 31, said that she was going to miss sex with her fiancé Bradley Dack the most.

She said: "In three or four days I'll probably miss the dogs and my fiancé probably."

The former Love Island star went on: "I mean four weeks and no sh**ging, what can you do?"

Despite not being able to get her leg over while in the jungle, Olivia has admitted she'll be bringing the sex appeal – or at least trying to.

Speaking of the iconic shower scenes, she told Daily Star: "I think it’s slightly different to taking pics at a pool party because I’m going to be living on rice and beans, no fake tan, no cosmetics and ultimately I will be in there to have a shower, so I don’t know.

“I mean I’ll try and make it look cute, but I need to think positive thoughts.”

She is starring on I'm A Celeb alongside Babatunde Aléshé, Boy George, Charlene White, Chris Moyles, Jill Scott, Matt Hancock, Mike Tindall, Owen Warner, Scarlette Douglas and Sue Cleaver.

I'm a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! kicks off at 9pm on ITV tonight (November 6)
