Coronation Street: Daisy and Ryan have heart-to-heart in hospital
Charlotte Jordan, 27, joined ITV staple Coronation Street as shallow barmaid Daisy Midgeley more than two years ago.
She’s since been at the centre of some of the soap’s biggest storylines, but what is life like for Charlotte behind the scenes?
It seems the actress could have found fame in another way as she has ties with one of the most famous girl band members of all time.
Geri Halliwell, also known as Ginger Spice in the 1990s iconic group Spice Girls, formed a different pop band in 2012, which Charlotte became a part of.
Daisy joined Corrie as Jenny Connor’s (played by Sally Ann Matthews) stepdaughter.
While at first proving to be a bit self-absorbed, the character of Daisy has grown with the experiences she’s faced on the cobbles, from love to tragedy.

When the cameras are off though, Charlotte’s life seems worlds away from her soap alter ego.
Charlotte, whose real name is Charlotte Jordan Evans, joined Gerri’s band in 2012.
She has in the past revealed how she was scouted to be part of the band.
“It was a development deal, which means we spent a lot of time bonding, doing choreography and recording songs in the studio – sometimes cool songs, sometimes naff songs,” she told Metro. Charlotte went on: “You just try to find your sound.”

It seems the star was destined for the entertainment industry, with the Surrey-born star making her television debut in an episode of The Bill in 2007.
For the role, she performed under the name of Charlie Evans, also portraying the role of Serna in Nickelodeon’s Sumer in Transylvania under the same name.
She didn’t start acting under the name Charlotte Jordan until 2016 when she made her first film appearance in Angel of Decay.
Charlotte went on to appear in Causality, Natflix’s Free Rein and the short film Tracks.

It was a year later that she landed the role of Daisy on Coronation Street.
Her most recent and most dramatic storyline aired recently when Daisy was the victim of a vicious stalker who later threw acid at her in a horrendous attack.
Ryan Conner (Ryan Prescott) took the hit for Daisy and has been coming to terms with his life-changing injuries ever since, leaving Daisy feeling riddled with guilt.
Despite playing the northerner, Charlotte grew up in Chobham, Surrey and had to learn the Mancunian accent.
Her Instagram page is filled with snaps of her enjoying days out and spending time with her dog, Olive, and her boyfriend, who actually made a brief appearance in Corrie while filming restrictions were in place during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Charlotte’s most recent post is a holiday snap taken in Kos, Greece. She is sporting a summery top and a long pink skirt and posing for the camera as her caption reads: “It’s me. The girl that won’t shut up about her butterfly shoesies.”
