ESCAPE to the Country's Jules Hudson has been presenting the BBC show for 17 years, but what is known about him besides what he shows on TV?
The 53 year old has dubbed himself a 'keen countryman and craftsman' who enjoys his filming breaks by renovating his unique period property and magical garden.
Television presenter and writer Jules started his TV career in 1996 as part of the production team for BBC2's Horizon, Channel 4's Time Team and numerous military history series.
He became a presenter on Escape to the Country in 2007 and regularly appeared on This Week on the Farm alongside Helen Skelton.
From January 2010 to February 2012, Jules was the initial presenter on BBC One's Britain's Empty Homes.
The archaeologist recently told the Express: "I hope to do Escape to the Country for as long as I'm able and for as long as the show will have me.

"For me, country life is absolutely who I am, and it's who I was before I came to present Escape to the Country.
"It's a massive step for lots of people, so having the chance to share that, that experience, those tips and tricks, it's very much a way of life for me.
"I absolutely love it, it's a show I'm incredibly fond of. It's very dear to me."
Even though the father of one is best known for helping hopefuls find their dream homes in the countryside, away from the cameras, you'll find him at his own dream home in Herefordshire with his family.

Financial woes
4Jules' TV career has been a fruitful one, to say the least, going from strength to strength, but it doesn't come without its hardships.
During an interview with The Scottish Mail in May 2020, he candidly spoke about his financial difficulties during the pandemic where helost more than £50,000.
Jules revealed that it was 'financially devastating' losing a 'lot of expected income'.
He added: "Normally, I'd now be filming Escape to the Country, and I was planning to go on a tour to promote my latest book.
"But, of course, all of that has been cancelled. This quarter, I've lost between £50,000 and £60,000 of anticipated income."
Family/ personal life
The Escape to The Country presenter is married to his wife Tania Fitzgerald.
The couple tied the knot in 2016 and share their young son, Jack, and two Labradors, Teddy and Lolo.
Jules prefers to keep his family out of the spotlight and admitted that they struggled to live in busy London and decided to find somewhere with more greenery together.
He told The Times in 2020: "I found London very claustrophobic. There's an energy about it that I absolutely love, but I need green fields and space."
The couple wanted to feel more comfortable in their home and eventually ended up in the West Midlands.
Jules added: "We knew what we were looking for – something with space, something with outbuildings. And having its own plot was really important to me."
Speaking on how his TV jobs have affected his family, Jules said: "Anybody with any busy life will tell you that the balance between your working life and family life can be tricky.
"I've got a young son, we've got our own life here in Herefordshire that is very dear to us, so you know, trying to balance it all can be difficult, but it's a partnership, it's a team effort through the family.
"We all understand it, we have mortgages to pay and bills to pay and all the rest of it, it is our working life. It's not easy, but that's the trouble every family in the Country faces.
"Let's be honest, you just have to work hard and play."
Hobbies outside of filming
In 2018, Jules was asked to describe his ideal day off work.
The expert disclosed that he would choose a chilled Sunday away from a busy schedule and cameras any day.
