ITV confirms the return of The Chase and Tipping Point after schedule shake up – but there's a problem | The Sun

THE Chase and Tipping Point will both return today as normal following schedule changes – but with a twist.

The hit game shows which have become a staple of the ITV schedule over the last decade were axed yesterday.

The channel pulled them from the airwaves to allow for extended coverage following the funeral of Her Majesty The Queen.

Disruption to schedules has occurred since news broke of her passing as broadcasters scrambled to keep rolling news coverage on air.

Emmerdale and Coronation Street fans are finally up to date after both soaps were axed and rescheduled over the last 11 days.

Meanwhile the National Television Awards has been postponed until Thursday, 13th October and will be live from The OVO Arena Wembley.

Strictly Come Dancing's highly anticipated launch show will now air this Friday at 7pm on BBC One.

However, these episodes will be repeats which viewers at home are likely to have already watched.

Ben Shephard will present Tipping Point at 4pm.

While Bradley Walsh will front The Chase straight afterwards from 5pm.

The ITV Regional News where you are will then begin at 6pm followed by the national bulletin at 6:30pm.
