James Martins new series to be broadcast following axe claims

This Morning: Gino calls James Martin ‘a filthy chef’

James Martin’s new cooking series “will still be broadcast by ITV” despite recent allegations of bullying.

The first complaints were reportedly made against James in 2018 when the chef was allegedly angered by a blocked drain in his home and launched a furious rant at his team.

It was reported recently the 51-year-old was at risk of being “axed” by ITV amid concerns about his behaviour.

However, the MailOnline has reported James Martin’s Spanish Adventure will still air as scheduled this autumn.

Since the complaints were made public, James and his production company Blue Marlin have taken the comments on board and claimed that “lessons have been learned”.

ITV and James Martin’s representatives have been contacted by Express.co.uk regarding the update about his relationship with the broadcaster.

In response to ITV’s initial probe, James’ agent Fiona Lindsay previously told Express.co.uk: “An unfortunate incident occurred after filming James Martin’s Saturday Morning in 2018 where James’ home was badly damaged. Blue Marlin Television accepted responsibility.

“James was shocked by what had happened and on reflection acknowledges he responded emotionally, which he wholly regrets. James apologises for any offence or upset caused, as he did at the time to the crew involved.

“Following this and some issues filming James Martin’s Spanish Adventures, James and Blue Marlin Television agree that lessons have been learned which have been discussed with members of the team and with ITV.
