Linda Robson ‘confirms split as she admits she ‘doesn’t need a partner

Loose Women's Linda Robson on not 'needing' a partner

Linda Robson confessed she doesn’t need a partner during Wednesday’s instalment of Loose Women.

Over the past few weeks, rumours have been circulating that the Birds of a Feather star has called it quits with her husband Mark Dunford.

Linda addressed the speculation last month admitting they were still living together at that moment in time and confessed every marriage has “hiccups”.

However, in a recent episode, the panel were discussing how soon it is to move on from a partner and the 65-year-old had some strong opinions.

Panellist Jane Moore asked her: “Do you have a timeframe in your head when it comes to, obviously when you split up from Lauren’s dad?”

She replied: “It took me a long time to get over that because that was my first love.

“I feel like I don’t really need a partner to love me. I’ve got my children, my grandchildren, my sisters and my friends.

“I’m looking for affection, not an erection.”

Linda’s candid confession caught the other panellists off guard as the live audience burst into laughter.

Kelle Bryan joked she nearly fell off of her chair as Brenda Edwards’ jaw dropped in shock.

Linda continued: “It’s nice to have a cuddle with someone isn’t it?”

Getting back on topic, Jane shared she believes some men want to be looked after by women, whereas most women want companionship.

Agreeing, Linda shared: “We do yeah, so I miss that really.

“But then as I say, I’ve got my sisters, I’ve got a group of really good friends, I’ve got you lot as well.

“So we all look after each other.”

However, the panellist is yet to officially confirm a split from Mark on social media.
