Loose Women Coleen Nolan left unimpressed after co-star Kaye Adams makes sly dig

Coleen Nolan was left less than impressed after Loose Women co-host Kaye Adams made a sly passing comment about her.

Kaye was speaking to fellow ITV hosts Rochelle Humes and Andi Peters to reveal what was in store in Thursday's show (August 24).

Speaking to the This Morning duo via video link, Adams, 60, revealed that she and Coleen would be joined by Denise Welch and Jane Moore.

But Kaye was quick to tense the mood once she began her link.

"Coming up, after Blackpool's Big Dipper recently celebrated its 100th birthday – which is a coincidence, because so did Coleen…" Kaye said.

The camera immediately cut to the former singer, who was visibly unimpressed with the remark, who gave a tired look to the viewing public at home.

Similarly, the audience seemed shocked at Kaye's quip, with many booing the comment in awe.

Denise was then seen reading the dictionary with her new pair of glasses, whilst Coleen continued to look unamused at her co-star in the background.

The Scotswoman continued: "We reveal why the iconic occasion played a big part on the first day that Coleen and Denzy ever met".

The pair then awwed and looked at each other dotingly, as the audience showed their love for the twosome.

Kaye later added that the panel would discuss their phobias, before throwing the question to Rochelle and Andi what their worst fear was.

Andi was quick to give his answer, saying he was deathly afraid of spiders, saying he "can't bear them".

Rochelle offered a different idea, saying that she was more afraid of rats and mice.

Kaye responded that "Coleen is scared of spiders as well," before the camera panned to Coleen who was nodding slowly.

Loose Women airs live daily at 12:30pm on ITV and ITVX.
