Love Island fans were left baffled on Tuesday night's episode over a scene of Luca Bish in the villa's swimming pool.
During the latest episode, Gemma Owen confronted Luca over his behaviour in the villa's mile high-themed challenge.
And prior to their explosive row, Luca decided to have a chill in the swimming pool before Gemma headed over to pull him for a chat.
However, eagle-eyed viewers were left baffled by the scenes as the spotted that Luca was holding his microphone in the air while in the water as they questioned why he didn't just take the mic off.
Taking to Twitter, one person said: "Now why would Luca be holding his microphone in the pool #LoveIsland."
A different account put: "Luca holding this microphone is taking me out #LoveIsland" followed with laughing emojis.
Another viewer said: "The way luca was holding the mic in the pool #loveisland…"
While a different show watcher added: "The way Luca is holding the mic set like it's a Walkie talkie #LoveIsland."
During the episode, the girls took part in the game where they had to dress as cabin crew and prep the boys for departure, joining their chosen passenger for a private mile high club moment.
However, the challenge led to turbulence in Gemma and Luca's romance as the girls commented on how "weird" the latter was behaving.
Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu said: "Was it me or was I seeing that Luca was being a bit weird like when you were doing your challenge?"
To which the girls all agreed, even claiming that Luca was acting like a "baby" during the racy game.
After hearing her friends' comments, Gemma responded: "It's really not that deep, but if he's going to be a p***k over it then he can do one!"
Gemma then decided to confront Luca as she said: "You can sit here and say that you're not in a mood… you're in a mood…"
With Luca insisting: "No, I'm not in a mood!" to which Gemma responded: "Luca, don't play thick! You were pushing me off, had a face like a slapped a**e, are you 12?!"
Luca then explained: "It's obviously not nice to see but it's a challenge so I can't exactly stay annoyed at you for it, it was just…"

With Gemma pointing out: "So you can't exactly 'stay' annoyed at me for it… so you were annoyed at it?"
Luca then stormed off as he shouted: "It's doing my head in!"
