LOVE Island star Tyler Cruickshank has revealed a surprising new career one year after finding fame in the villa.

The reality star, 27, is best known for his stint on the ITV2 dating show in 2021.


Tyler made it all the way the final with Kaz Kamwi, but placed fourth.

Before heading into the villa, Tyler worked as an estate agent – and now he's decided that he wants to do something completely different.

Taking to Instagram, the hunk took part in a Q&A about the course he is doing to become a solicitor.

One fan asked: "What are you studying?"

Tyler explained: "I'm finishing my legal studies, so I'm preparing for my SQE which will eventually take over from the LPC."

The star is currently doing the 20 week course because it "fits in perfectly" with his lifestyle, and he will sit his exams at the start of next year.

Last month was the first time Tyler revealed his career change.

He told his Instagram followers: "So, as some of you will already know, I’ve wanted to go back and finish my studies for a while now.

"Law is something that I'm extremely passionate about and I have always said one day I would want to go back to complete what I started.

Well, that time has come – I'm proud to announce that I'm partnering with @barbri_sqe to embark on my SQE training.

"I'm super excited about this new chapter and can't wait to share my journey with you all!"

Tyler rose to fame last year on the seventh series of Love Island.

He entered the villa on day 23 as a bombshell and soon coupled up with Kaz.

However when Casa Amor came around, Tyler couldn't keep his eyes off Clarisse Juliette and decided to recouple with her.

But that didn't last long as Tyler and Kaz couldn't ignore them sizzling chemistry.

Tyler recently revealed that there's only one swear word that’s banned in the villa.

"When we were saying things in there, we would get told off quite a lot because they weren't politically correct," Tyler told the Daily Star.

"Like you can't say 'Chinese whispers' like, I get it but it's something that would slip out of your mouth."

"You can't say the C-word either," he added, before revealing the consequences: " You get called to the beach hut and get told off.

"You can't do accents either. I was trying to use the French accent and I wasn't very good which is probably why they told me off."
