Married At First Sight UK’s Whitney takes a bitter swipe at Matt after shock split is revealed | The Sun

MARRIED At First Sight's controversial contestant Whitney Hughes calls out Matt Murray's conduct as the pair explain their shock split.

The duo finished the E4 experiment declaring they were "in love" – despite a tricky time which saw them split with their original show partners.

A host of their Married At First Sight co-stars were also less than impressed when the duo were allowed to stay on the programme as a couple.

Yet after Monday's reunion episode revealed they had split, The Sun's exclusive preview of the second part of the reunion partially explains why.

St Albans-based PA Whitney admits Matt's insecurities played a big part in their downfall.

In their final ever sit-down with the experts, they agreed that they were "not together."

Gemma – who was Matt's original wife in the reality show experiment – quips: "It's funny considering they love each other."

Matt, dressed in a smart green shirt and jeans, appears lost for words as he responds: "Erm. Coming out of the experiment we spent a lot of time together to start with didn't we?"

Talking of his former partner's visit to his Huddersfield home, he adds: "Whitney came up to mine, I went down to Whitney's.
