Molly Marsh admits she was ‘much happier before Love Island’ and feels ‘lost’

Former Love Island star Molly Marsh revealed that she was “much happier” before going into the Love Island villa, as she admitted she has been feeling “really unhappy”.

The influencer opened up in her latest YouTube vlog and told her viewers that she has “not being myself”, and has been “confused” and “lost”.

Sitting down and speaking to the camera, Molly said: “I feel like coming out of Love Island there has been a lot of negatives and I am focusing on them more than anything. I was just thinking and I was much happier before Love Island.”

Molly continued and gushed over her boyfriend Zach, as she said: “If I didn’t meet Zach and didn’t find love, I’d feel much worse, like I am so grateful to have found love and something real in a fake environment and just to have Zach it just means the world to me and he is a star and so supportive and just amazing.

“I’ve just been, within myself, really unhappy, a bit confused, I’ve felt a bit lost.”

The Influencer went on to say that she has stopped looking at comments online as much as she used to, and is now “really focusing on me”.

Molly's latest YouTube vlog follows after she revealed she took a short break from her social media as she felt “very overwhelmed with life” and went on a retreat.

Sharing a video montage of a retreat away, Molly said in the caption that: "Things got a lot recently in my little brain and become very overwhelmed with life".

She explained that she fell into a "negative headspace" and wanted to "take time for myself and nourish my soul".

Molly gave a glimpse of what she had been up to on the retreat in a video, which included her eating some delicious-looking food, taking part in yoga, going for a walk, colouring, painting, writing in a notebook and spending time with others.

Fans labelled Molly’s message as “an important reminder” as one of her fans commented: “Love that you recognised what was needed to make sure you’re in a healthy place. It’s such an important reminder for all of us!”

Another added: “I love this so much! Well done, you for prioritising your mental and physical well-being. We could all use a little reminder that being kind is a free action that can change the world. Hopefully, this inspires others to see the light in those dark places.”
