Naga Munchetty left 'very jealous' by BBC Breakfast co-star | The Sun

NAGA Munchetty has been left incredibly jealous of her BBC Breakfast co-star Shaimaa Khalil – and for good reason.

The Australian correspondent joined the early morning show from Ramsay Street on the set of Neighbours as the final episode airs overseas.

As Naga welcomed Shaimaa on the show, she said: "Australia is preparing to watch its final scenes from the set of the soap Neighbours.

"The finale stars fan favourites Kylie Minogue and Jason Donovan of course. It'll be shown in the UK tomorrow evening, but today Australia gets it.

"Shaimaa, you know what being on Ramsay Street is something you dream of when you're younger and you get to do this."

Shaimaa immediately quipped back: "How jealous are you Naga?"

Her question prompted the star to admit she was "very" jealous.

Shaimaa added: "I have to pinch myself a little bit that I'm here on the very day that Australia fans get to say goodbye to the longest running soap opera. This has defined a generation."

As the video was shared to the BBC Breakfast official Twitter page, Shaimaa penned: "It's not often that I get to make Naga jealous! Normally it's the other way round.

Naga retweeted the tweet as she shared her support for her co-star making the most of her time on Ramsay Street as the finale gears to wrap up for the final time.

BBC Breakfast airs weekdays from 6am on BBC One.
