Phillip Schofield’s last ever This Morning episode could be just weeks away, according to reports.
The 61-year-old has been a regular face on the hit ITV show – making his first appearance way back in 2002.
But in recent weeks, Phil has made headlines after it was reported that he and his presenter duo Holly Willoughby are “barely speaking” and have become “more distant.”

What’s more, Phillip even made a shock statement in a bid to mend their relationship, admitting how “things haven’t been easy” between the two This Morning stars.
And now, it appears that Phil’s time on the show could soon come to an end as his contract is up for renewal in September, with sources saying Monday could be "D-day".
If bosses decide not to extend or renew his contract then this means his final episode would be in July – when he and Holly head on their annual summer break.
According to the Mail: “Schofield's contract is up for renewal in September but because he takes the summer holidays off, his final episode would be in July if ITV were to axe him."
Daily Star has reached out to reps for Phillip and for ITV for comment.
It comes after an insider told The Sun that a "devastated" Phillip phoned Holly after their rift was thrust into the spotlight.
A source said: "Things have been difficult between them, but for it to play out so publicly was the last thing Phil was ever expecting.
“He has spoken with Holly over the phone about how this all played out. He’s devastated by it all and is incredibly upset."
ITV's golden duo have been under a lot of pressure in the past year and especially more recently.
They came under fire last year after the death of Queen Elizabeth II, when they were accused of jumping the queue to pay respects at her coffin.
Phil, 61, then was away from This Morning earlier this year when his brother Timothy was on trial for a subsequently convicted of child sex offences, and Holly was then off sick with shingles.
Holly first appeared on the This Morning back in 2009 when she replaced Fern Britton.
She has hosted alongside Phil since then as well as presenting with him on Dancing on Ice, which started three years earlier.
After years of working together, the pair developed a close friendship which quickly became evident on screen.
