Freddie Slater (Bobby Brazier) is set to come face to face with rapist dad Graham Foster in EastEnders, with Alex McSweeney set to reprise his role as the dastardly villain, but could the meeting result in murder?
Freddie first arrived on the Square last year with the belief that Billy Mitchell (Perry Fenwick) was his father.
However, it was soon revealed to him that that was not the case, though the identity of his real dad and the true circumstances of his conception were kept hidden from him.
Long time EastEnders viewers will know that Freddie’s mum, Little Mo Slater (Kacey Ainsworth) fell pregnant with him after being raped by Graham in the Queen Vic.
Though she wanted Billy to bring Freddie up as his own, Billy couldn’t handle what had happened to her, and the pair ultimately ended their marriage.

In upcoming scenes, Freddie will once again grow curious about his dad’s identity, after seeing Alfie Moon (Shane Richie) bonding with sons Bert and Ernie.
‘Freddie wants to find his dad because he’s grown up for the past 18 years without know anything about who his dad is and anytime he has wanted to find out about who his dad is he has always been palmed off,’ actor Bobby Brazier revealed.
‘He hasn’t had any definitive answers to give him peace or that resolution he’s looking for. He moved to the Square last year in hopes of finding his family and he also wanted them to point him to the direction of his dad.
‘Seeing Alfie, who has kind of taken on that male role model for Freddie as someone he can trust and take shelter on, being such a great dad to his boys, it triggers something in Freddie that hasn’t come up for a while but is always there. So he wants to go and find his dad.’
Having made his decision, Freddie asks Kat Slater (Jessie Wallace) to reveal his identity, but she refuses in a bid to protect him from the truth.
When he remains persistent she relents, she interrupts a conversation between Freddie, Alfie and Billy and promises to give him the truth later on.
However, unwilling to betray Little Mo’s trust, she ends up lying to him.
As she discusses the situation with Jean and Harvey (Gillian Wright and Ross Boatman), Tommy Moon (Sonny Kendall) overhears the conversation, and secretly gives Freddie the name of his dad.
When Freddie sets about researching, he finds the name Graham Foster on a website for a car dealership, and he and best friend Bobby Beale (Clay Milner Russell) arrange to test drive a car in order to suss him out.
However, in the heat of the moment, Freddie ends up revealing exactly who he is.
With executive producer Chris Clenshaw having promised that ‘Freddie will finally find out the truth about his dad’, can we expect Freddie to take violent revenge?
Having discovered Freddie’s plan to meet his dad, there is a race against time for Kat, Alfie and Billy to track him down.
Turning on Bobby, they ultimately get Freddie’s location out of him, but will they get there in time?
