Richard Madeley forced to correct himself after blurting out expletive on GMB

Richard Madeley stops Suella Braverman from avoiding question

Good Morning Britain host Richard Madeley was forced to correct himself after letting a rude word slip live on air.

He was presenting alongside Kate Garraway to discuss the air traffic control issue which has impacted thousands of passengers over the past 24 hours.

They spoke to Olympic sprinter Iwan Thomas on the ITV programme who is currently stranded in Amsterdam following the chaos.

“It could be worse, I managed to find a hotel,” the athlete said via video call from his hotel room.

However, Richard then blurted out an inappropriate word during their conversation.

Richard shared: “It’s a good job you kept your passport on you, and it’s a good job you’ve got a couple of credit cards on you.

“Otherwise you really would be stuck, you would just basically be sitting on your ar*e…”

Co-host Kate raised her eyebrows following his slip of the tongue and Richard had to correct himself to viewers.

“Excuse me, sitting on your bottom, at the airport on the floor, which so many people are,” he quickly shared.
