Strictlys Johannes breaks silence after John Whaite fell in love with him

John Whaite on his 'bitterness' after being let go from Lorraine

Strictly Come Dancing professional Johannes Radebe has recently spoken out on John Whaite’s admittance of love and claimed they had a “beautiful experience” together.

Back in 2021, Johannes and John made history as the first same-sex male pairing on the show and wowed viewers with their chemistry and magical dances.

However, John recently admitted his partnership with Johannes nearly destroyed his 15-year relationship after he had “fallen in love” with the star.

Johannes has since spoken out about their close relationship and claimed they will be “friends for life”.

Speaking to The Times about his experience with John, Johannes admitted: “We have gone on to have such a beautiful experience together that it would be a shame if we were not friends after all that.

He went on: “What we agreed is that, regardless of what life throws at us, we will always keep [the friendship] going.

“‘We are friends for life,’ I always say to him. ‘I know where you live. You cannot get rid of me.’ I still speak to him.”

During John’s revelation, he admitted that despite the friendship still being intact, he had to cut down contact with Johannes out of respect for his partner Paul.

Also speaking to The Times, John explained: “I love him [Paul] to bits and I worship the ground he walks on.
