The year is 2035 and government interference has reached a new level.

Now, everyone’s dreams are recorded on VHS tapes and pored over by tax inspectors.

Dreams and reality begin to blur when tax auditor James Preble (co-director Kentucker Audley) inspects the nocturnal fantasies of an elderly inventor (Penny Fuller).

There’s a conspiracy and a love story but the film isn’t really interested in plot.

This is more about talking beetroots, mice in sailor’s pinafores and frog-headed waiters.
