1000-Lb Sisters: Tammy’s family celebrate goal weight
Fans of TLC’s hit reality show 1000lb Sisters have watched on as stars Tammy and Amy Slaton attempt to change their lives for the better following the ups and downs of their weight loss journeys. And since then, one half of the Slaton sister duo, Tammy, has made fans “proud” as she flaunted her new slimmed-down face following her weight loss surgery last year.
1000lb Sisters star Tammy wowed fans after she shared a selfie with her 475,000 Instagram followers this week.
She smiled for a selfie as she sported a pink t-shirt with a cartoon printed on the front, with a pair of black rim glasses poised on her nose.
Tammy’s red hair was swept back, allowing fans to see a much slimmer version of her face.
Although she didn’t accompany her snaps with a caption, fans were quick to commend the reality star on her incredible transformation in the comments.
One fan @amandaleeanderson praised her, saying: “Tammy I was seriously one of your biggest critics.
“It’s been amazing seeing your consistency within your health journey. Soon enough you’ll be approved for skin removal and just know we are all rooting for you! Proud of you!”
While @luckylibra7575 agreed: “I’m soooo soooo proud of you girl. You took back your life and you did the damn thang. Keep it up because you’re my motivation.”
Another user @mandafay22 wrote: “You’re doing so amazing! You proved everyone wrong and proved to yourself you can do it! Amazing job!”

It comes after fans saw Tammy lose enough weight to qualify for bariatric surgery in the most recent season of 1000lb Sisters.
The reality star underwent surgery last summer in a bid to help her drop the pounds to save her life.
Since then, Tammy has continued her weight loss efforts, and it appears she has succeeded following her recent snap.
She regularly updates fans on her weight loss progress, sharing snippets of her post-surgery journey on various social media platforms.

Apart from sharing updates with thousands of Instagram followers, Tammy also regularly documents her journey on her TikTok.
Her TikTok account has over 4.3 million likes and 653,000 followers as fans are always on hand to support her progress.
According to the US Sun, the 36-year-old has now lost nearly 300 pounds and counting as she continues to keep the pounds off following her successful bariatric surgery.
